-I really want to become a film director and start making mini-short-films with my friends, but I have no equipment, no moral-support, and no money. I'm pretty sure my high school has no filming classes, either. When I asked my parents if I could sell my computer, which would get me approximately $480 to buy an okay camera and maybe some other equipment, they told me I was crazy and to "just wait".
What could I do other than "just wait"? I don't want to just wait. My mom has a camera that takes okay videos. Is that good enough?
(I can't save up money; I'm too young to get a job, and my parents would probably rob the money from me to help pay bills anyway.)
