Art craft ideas for kindergardeners?

-i have an intership where i help aid a kindergarden class. next week i have to do a lesson for the day. i have a book im going to read and its just basically saying springs here. what are some enjoyable art activites i could do with them in regard to spring. i was thinking something to do with flowers. i have a color by number of flowers but im trying to think of something more enjoyable they would like to do.You can get some construction paper and have them cut out the shapes of a flower to make their own, or have them write what they like to do during spring like "When the weather is nice, I like to play with (my) ________" and then draw a picture.
